THE CRYPT WAITS FOR YOU...

After 3 months from receiving our developmental edit we're excited to announce the release of The Crypt Has Opened SRD. This document contains all the rules necessary to play a one-shot or even a full campaign if you're feeling cheeky enough! While there are no cryptid stats or information on the state of the world and different organizations, we have provided you with a framework to generate that material. So while it may not be "official," it'll be what's true at your table.

WHAT'S NEXT?

While this document may not contain that information, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Quite the opposite. We've already begun the work in designing Cryptids and Organizations. A world map has been drawn and writers are being hired. There are already amazing entries for Sasquatch, a wicked Scarecrow, and even the Ozark Howler.

A list of incredible organizations including The Mysterium Magica, Walten's Curios, and The Peculiar Fellowship of Magicians are in line to be fleshed out with wonderful NPCs and plot hooks. In particular I'm excited to see what comes of the CAT Department (Cryptid Acquisition and Training).

As its always been stated, we are committed to keeping this document free for everyone. Though it is setup for pay what you want do not feel compelled to. If you do drop a few dollars, know that every penny will be going toward the next major release and y'all are we getting pumped for that one.

The SRD already comes in at a weighty 48 pages and I suspect it may double in size to include the rest of the content. Which will be an incredible undertaking. Just setting up the Index page and footnotes for this document was a chore! But a chore well worth it.

While the next book will be in production we'll be running a host of playtests to fine tune the rules and make sure everything works as intended.
